The Silver Moon

I always wonder what i would do,
if i had wings;
I would fly across the blue sky,
I dream, I wish myself flying
up and up and up the bright morning sky.

In sorrows I would fly around the sky,
for a ray of hope to touch my heart
with my tears falling like rain,
determined to create a flood.
I would fly at my fastest
for the cool wind to console me.

In my joys I would fly around the sky
sharing the blossoms of my joy
with my depressed friends
who lean over books and think my dreams a waste.

I would fly towards the setting sun
to clear one of my biggest doubts
'why does the sun hide in the ocean
from us during the night' ?
May be he goes to see the mermaids sing
or to see the glorious dolphins dance.

I would fly towards the silver Moon
To find the rabbit hidden there
Which stains the perfect silver Moon
To make children like us to stay
Awake and think all night,
‘Is uncle rabbit all alone there? ’

At once I remember, that they are just dreams
That would never come true
Maybe my friends are right and
My dreams are just waste
Still I prefer to dream myself
Flying up and up into the sky
Up and up into the sky
Into the dark nothingness andInto the dark nothingness.
