I am a girl

I AM A GIRL

They all want them
They all want boys
And I’m not one
So I suffer.

It really hurts.
When people say
Leave the boys, they’re boys
You being a girl did all these,
What a shame!
I’m exhausted!

They always say
Boys are stronger
But want us to do everything
They always say
Leave the boys, they’re boys
They don’t have to,
they are free
You are a girl, so you have to.

They tease us
They discriminate
Then they say
You have equal rights
Still you want more.

The decreasing sex ratio
Increasing assaults
Underfed girl children
Exemplify our condition.

This is truth
And its not fair
We will revolt
Until they dare
To realize we are to be respected
And treated equal, not just said to be so.
